Starting a Garden like a Small Farmer
Service Description
Come to the farm and get a crash course in gardening and small scale food production from Sam Lee Wasserman. This 2 hour class will cover the basics needed to get started on your garden no matter your growing situation. We will cover the basics of living soils, bed preparation, seed starting, succession planting and various tips and tricks to successfully grow food this season. No experience needed and children are welcome for this course. Everyone will leave with a flat of seasonal seeds planted based on your individual garden plans. Come get a head start and learn about ways to make your garden more productive this season! There will be a maximum of 10 total participants and a minimum of 3. If the minimum is not met you will be issued a full refund.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans change and things come up so we do allow for cancellations and rescheduling. We offer free cancellation up to 24 hours before your tour and rescheduling up to 1 hour before your tour. Please understand that we will try to accommodate everyone but may be limited in time and space. Groups larger than 10 can be scheduled by contacting us directly. Tour availability is subject to road and weather conditions.
