Guided Birding Hike
Service Description
Join us on a native bird hike with our naturalist Sam Lee Wasserman, exploring the abundant bird population on the farm. He’ll give a 1.5 hour guided birding hike exploring the farm and highlighting the unique ecology of Paso Robles. Get a chance to observe the amazing species on the farm including native songbirds, quail, hawks, vultures, turkeys, eagles, and more. The hike includes a more intense gain in elevation and varies in difficulty from moderate to intense. Children are not recommended for the hike, instead we recommend the birding walk for families with children. We will provide a field guide and binoculars for all participants. Visitors should wear sturdy shoes, wear sunscreen and bring water. We can accommodate for all abilities providing a comfortable experience for all visitors upon request. Our farm is conveniently located 10 minutes drive from Downtown Paso Robles and centrally located within the Adelaida Wine District.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans change and things come up so we do allow for cancellations and rescheduling. We offer free cancellation up to 24 hours before your tour and rescheduling up to 1 hour before your tour. Please understand that we will try to accommodate everyone but may be limited in time and space. Groups larger than 10 can be scheduled by contacting us directly. Tour availability is subject to road and weather conditions.
